Well Logging

Well Logging

Well logging is one of the most significant means of collecting information from a borehole drilled for any reason such as exploration of petroleum, natural gas, water, heated groundwater and mine, construction of bridges and dams, environmental protection, seismicity searches, and collection of geological information, and means of storing such information. The characteristics of the formations of the drilled borhole (density, thickness, inclination, direction, porosity, permeability, water or petroleum saturation, texture, pressure etc.) are recorded by well logs as continuously and under natural conditions.
